JAHARI "ZIGGY SLIMM" LEVY

Jahari J Levy a.k.a Ziggy Slimm was born and raised in downtown New Orleans, La. He has always been very expressive and honest since his younger days. Slimm moved out of his parent’s home at the age of 15 where he then bounced from home to home and learned to become a man from the streets. Slimm dropped out of school in the 10th grade, because he felt as though he would be safer on the streets teaching himself. He has been rapping for a minute now and he now wants his lyrics to be heard. He feels as though real people going threw the same mental, spiritual, and physical fight he is going through are going to be able to relate to his music, which he considers "Reality Feel Music". One thing Ziggy makes sure is known in his lyrics is that he doesn’t rap for fame, money, or to prove anything "Rap is just how he gets high." He spent time in Caddo Correctional which gave him more time to think and write about the struggle and hardships he's been through. His lyrics have always been about things he truthfully knows about and have experienced. He let's people know that Ziggy Slim is not just a rapper, but that he's a hustler who uses rap as his own personal diary and expresses himself in his own way, which includes tales of a young brother just trying to make it.
